GOA, Tour plan, 3 night 4 days

It was a wonderful experience being in GOA, it was my third time I went there but this time I have really enjoyed life.
Me and my wife traveled from Bangalore to Goa, and my friend and his wife traveled from Mumbai, I am sharing my experience for this tour.
We left Bangalore from Paulo Volvo sleeper bus, the experience was not good in bus, it was exhaustive, it took around 15 hours to reach Panji city in Goa. And the bus is so conjustered that a person can hardly sleep, although the ticket was Rs. 850.
We reached on 12th jan 2008 noon 12 O’ clock Panji city and then went to hotel, it was Goa tourisiam hotel, we found it good and it was in Malabar beach. They have a tour plan in the complete package. Three nights and four days package cost around Rs. 5200/ per couple. On 12th we went with their tour plan at 3pm at sunset beaches, they covered vagator beach, anjuna beach and calangute beach. At 7:30 they have the option of cruise, but we did not catch the cruise that day. We came back to hotel and then had dinner. Goa tourism provides the passes for breakfast and lunch/dinner with the package.
Next day morning we have hired one, self drive car Zen, it cost us Rs. 800 per day, we took it for 3 days and the total cost was Rs. 2400, And purchased one map of Goa.
We decide to go according to Map and visit places, so on Day Second we decided to visit around South Goa. After a long ride we land up at Betul beach, but there was nothing to see at this beach and then went to canaguinim beach, there is no as such pakka road to this beach, it’s just a kaccha road but the view was wonderful, it is one kind of god’s beauty with rocks at one side and mountains at other. Hardly 2 to 3 couples were there. From there we went to Varca Beach. You won’t believe this beach is heaven, it is beautiful, super and what all, one can say he is not in India but in abroad location. Blue water, white sand and a kind of private beach will foreigner all around you. We were only four Indian at this site. We took a rest and had lunch hear, and then enjoyed a lot in the sea. Took bath and enjoyed some beer and rest at beach. Then we left for hotel in eveining.
Day Third, we decided to visit forts and beaches of North Goa, the first place we went was Aguada Fort, we found it ok kind, its nothing to see there but yes it is fort, if anyone have time one can visit this. From this fort we move to Chapora fort, it is worth to visit, ur car or two vehicle will not go up to there, it’s a mountain u have to climb. But don’t miss this, it’s worth seeing this fort, Dil Chatta Hai shooting was also done at this location. This fort is surrounded by sea from three sides. Beautiful location at all the sides. From there we decided to move to Tiracol Fort, it does not have the road connectivity to this fort but if you wish ur car or bike can go on boat to other side of it, and then u can drive and go to fort.
We stayed back and went to Q beach, it is again a wonderful beach with hardly 10 to 15 people at one time. The water and soil was so clean that a person wish to sleep hours in this beach. After a long enjoyment we left to baga & calangute market, it is so costly market that you get things more than double the price of Bangalore and Mumbai. After a long day we came back to hotel. In fact anjuna beach and calangute beach are more populated beachs, where in calangute beach you will get a water biking and parachuting at Rs. 150 & Rs 500 respectively. At 8:30 we went on a cruise, its good atleast people get chance to dance a lot. Its almost one hour cruise. It is in Panji
Day Fourth: we have to check out the hotel so we did so and carry all our ludge in car, today we just decide to rome around all the famous churches of Goa, first we went of Vasco di gama, there is nothing to visit in this city, even the beach was also not clean. From vasco we reached old Goa, there are majorly two churches in old Goa, 1. Church of Our Lady of the Mount 2. Basilica of Bom Jesus, Old Goa in the second church you will find one museum which have a entry ticket of Rs. 5. If you are the lover of antique collections and history you might find it good but we have not enjoyed much hear, I think in museum very few people enjoy, it was really boring for us. Then we came to Panji and visited …….. Church, this is the church where JOSH movie of Sharukh and Aishwarya was shooted. Then we went to hotel and get refresh and then took our bus for Bangalore and Mumbai.

Important things when one go to GOA.
Hire a bike or Car as per your wish.
Carry a map with you all the time.
